KING'S X Guitarist TY TABOR Unleashes 'Tacklebox'

December 12, 2006

Ty Tabor, guitarist/vocalist with legendary Texas trio KING'S X, has released "Tacklebox (The Ty Tabor Demos Vol. 1 & 2)", a specially priced two-disc anthology available exclusively from Molken Music. "Tacklebox" features two full hours of music (30 songs in all),including two previously unreleased songs ("Selling My Soul" and "About You") as well as original multitrack demos for KING'S X classics such as "It's Love", "Dogman", "Black Flag" and "Summerland". Also featured is the legendary, original version of "Pleiades", the song that gave birth to the "KING'S X sound," as well as an audio commentary. All tracks were digitally remastered specifically for this release.

2006 has been a busy year for Tabor, who recently released his fourth solo disc, "Rock Garden" (Inside Out Music). He also just completed a U.S. tour with KING'S X, who will soon begin recording the follow up to "Ogre Tones" (Inside Out Music, 2005). The band will work again with legendary producer Michael Wagener (OZZY OSBOURNE, METALLICA) for a 2007 worldwide release on Inside Out Music.

Ty has also begun recording the sophomore XENUPHOBE release, "2.0: Electrolux", to be released in 2007 exclusively through Molken Music. (XENUPHOBE is the instrumental, psychoactive collaboration between Ty Tabor and guitarist Wally Farkas of GALACTIC COWBOYS fame.) Also in early 2007, Molken Music will make available blistering live sets from KING'S X as well as additional volumes of bassist/vocalist Doug Pinnick's successful demo series, "Songs from the Closet" and instructional videos from Doug, Ty, and KING'S X drummer Jerry Gaskill.

Full track listing for Ty Tabor's "Tacklebox" as well as music clips and video commercials can be found at Molken Music's web site.
